I think with Reality Remade in 2011 I showed something that was not there, among street photographers before.
While ICM and flash combined with slow shutter speed now is common to see it was not in 2011. It shows also how is possible to create a work made of several images with an important content. And Reality Remade highlights the importance to make photographs with a clear intent.
While I don’t like the term project, used by many photographers, preferring the term work, because I make works and not projects, I think with Reality Remade I was able to produce something recognizable as a single and consistent body of worl for a visual proposal.
And looking at this from a distance of years and with much more experience I believe it is still valid and that it stands the test of time.
I love these photos Alex.
